UIC Security Office would like to share with you the following convenient measures regarding passport applications and Hong Kong, Macau exit-entry permit applications according to the latest preferential policies of Guangdong province, which are expected to provide great convenience with you. Guangdong Permanent residents ： The permanent residents of Guangdong province holding certification of residence will be able to apply for passport, Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan travel permit in Jinding Police Station with effect from October 2015.Please be informed that holders of Hong Kong, Macau travel permit don’t need to submit residence documents for twice while applying for visa. Zhuhai Permanent residents ： College students domiciled in Zhuhai are not required to issue Zhuhai ID card from September 2015.

Please be reminded that you need to visit Jinding Police Station for applying Zhuhai ID card with photo receipt. Using previous ID card is also enable you to apply for passport, Hong Kong & Macau exit-entry permit without borrowing the collective hukou registered under UIC. Others ： Those who are not permanent residents of Guangdong province, if you want to apply for passport, please visit Jinding Police Station and remember to bring certification of student status （ issued by AR with Security Office’s seal ） and ID card with you. 各位同学： 广东省推出 2015 年最新惠民措施，保卫处在此就办理护照、港澳通行证的便民措施通知大家，进一步为同学们的生活出行提供便利。 广东省户籍的在校生： 从 2015 年 10 月份起，广东省户籍居民持《居住证》将可以跨地市在居住地派出所（我校属金鼎派出所）办理普通护照、《往来港澳通行证》及个人旅游签注、《大陆居民往来台湾通行证》及签注；持本省签发的有效《往来港澳通行证》申请再次个人游签注免交《居住证》。 珠海户籍的在校生： 2015 年 9 月份起，公安部不强制要求在珠海落户的大学生必须办理珠海《身份证》，有需要的学生可凭《身份证相片回执》到金鼎派出所办理《身份证》。原有的《身份证》全国通用，可以办理任何业务，凭原《身份证》可以到金鼎派出所办理《往来港澳通行证》、《护照》，无需借用《户口本》。 其他所在地户籍的在校生： 凭学校教务处出具的《在校证明》（需保卫处加盖公章）、《身份证》可以在居住地派出所（我校属金鼎派出所）办理《护照》。 户籍管理咨询电话： 0756-3620106
