据珠海警方通报，近期在高校发生多起犯罪嫌疑人冒充公安机关（佛山警方），打着以调查当事人涉及违法事件，需将资金转入“安全账户”的方式诈骗，其中有我校一名受害学生被骗数千元人民币。

请接到类似内容的电话或信息应提高警惕，最好是完全不用理会直接挂掉电话或删除短信，切勿转账或汇款，以免上当受骗。

Dear students:

According to the Zhuhai Police Department, recently there have been a number of incidents in which several suspects have impersonated Foshan police officers on university campuses. These suspects create fraudulent claims against students by convincing them that they committed a violation and as a result need to transfer their funds into an anonymous “safe account”. Among the victims, one UIC student has been scammed out of several thousand yuan.

Please be vigilant when receiving messages or calls that have a similar content. Ignore, hang up any calls that you may receive or delete the messages is preferable. Do not transfer or remit to avoid becoming a victim.
